14-25? Gain work experience this summer at Jubilee Library

Here's a chance to gain some interesting work experience and skills this summer – volunteer with the 2011 Summer Reading Challenge for children in Jubilee and Hove libraries.

You'll need to be enthusiastic about sharing books with children
You'll need to be:
14 –25 years old
Cheerful and friendly
Reliable – turn up on the days and times agreed
Enthusiastic about sharing books with children
Able to talk with children and their parents or carers
• We will train and support you. If you are 16+ you can log your hours with Vinspired and gain credits for your UCAS form.
Craft, storytelling, drama, musical or circus skills would also be very welcome.
If you can offer the equivalent of one full day or 2 half days a week for at least 4 weeks of the summer holidays, email library.volunteering@brighton-hove.gov.uk
There will be an introductory social at Jubilee Library for prospective volunteers on Tuesday 28 June from 5-6.30pm and another at Hove Library in July. Please email library.volunteering@brighton-hove.gov.uk or phone 01273 290800.
