Academy schools coming to Hove?
We've got some great schools in Hove, many with 'outstanding' Oftsted reports - just the sort of schools the new Government are encouraging to apply for academy status.
Do you think they should? Would it improve education in the area?

Well it won't improve standards at the already outstanding schools but it will raise the profile of Academies in general and encourage other schools who aren't doing so well to apply for Academy status ... and I do think they will improve in time.
