Great, even if small portioned, food. Good wine list. Super friendly staff. Sunday lunch is a must, but get there early as they get super busy and booked up. Can be a bit child/dog manic at times but somehow adds to the atmosphere. Pretty at night all low lit with candles. Well worth a visit

Cosy local with great bar staff
Good honest food, not particularly cheap but big portions and a good range of dishes to suit most people. The bar staff seemed especially friendly and we had a lovely evening sitting in the small garden. Have been told they have a child-friendly policy till 8.30pm. Worth knowing as there are not many pubs in this part of Hove which really cater for families.
