I mean that in a good way. It's up to the moment in most things – like a CCTV camera trained on customers as they line up for prescriptions. But there's a delightfully old-fashioned feel about the look and the smell of this chemists and I would recommend a visit. There are 19th Century shelves with ancient glass jars holding venerable old powders and potions. Most of them I couldn't read but I did spot 'pot-pourri'. The business 'goes back a long, long time' I was informed. Just how long wasn't known, but step inside for a faint blast for the past...
